Short Biography

Dr. Bander Albagawi is An Associate Professor and former Dean in the College of Nursing at University of Hail, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Albagawi was born in Baqaa, Saudi Arabia. He received Bachelor Science of Nursing from The University of Applied Sciences, Amman, Jordan in 2006, and Postgraduate Degree in Master of Advanced Practice from Griffith University, Gold Coast, Australia, in 2009, and Ph.D. degrees in Nursing from the RMIT, Melbourne, Australia, in 2014 respectively. His current research interests focus on Nursing Simulation, Leadership and Management in Nursing, Quality Improvement and Health services and preparation of new graduate nurse’s for Saudi licensure examination (SNLE). From (2017-2019) he was working as Vice Dean for Research and Consulting Services Institute, University of Hail. In addition, he is an Editorial Board Member and reviewer in numerous International Journal for in instance; (International Journal of Africa Nursing Sciences, European Scientific Journal (ESJ) and Journal of Nursing Management - Wiley Online Library) Dr. Albagawi is both a registered nurse and has been recognized as a member of several none-profit Health Societies such as; Kidney Patients Association in Hail as well as Primary Health Patient Association in Hail. Currently, he carries on various cooperative projects with Saudi Health Academy as well as he is a member of the Alpha Theta Chapter.

Utilization of AI and level of satisfaction among critical care staff nurses, Saudi Arabia

Abstract

Background: Addressing the high burden of high-risk and life-threatening disease cases in critical areas is crucial for improvement. These cases require constant monitoring and timely intervention, and the integration of AI technologies can potentially assist healthcare professionals in managing such complex situations more effectively. Aim of the Study: The study aims to assess the level of satisfaction among critical care staff in Hail, Saudi Arabia, regarding the current patient monitoring systems and to gather their suggestions for improving future technological advancements in critical care. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional survey of 150 critical care staff from 4 hospitals in Hail, Saudi Arabia was conducted. The study utilized a meticulously developed questionnaire containing 36 items across 8 key topics to gather insights from doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals directly involved in this crucial aspect of care. Conclusion: The study's ultimate goal is to provide practical recommendations for policymakers, hospital administrators, and technology developers in critical care settings. This integration has the potential to revolutionize patient monitoring, enhancing care quality, improving patient outcomes, and ultimately saving lives.in critical care settings.
